Stamps, quality and grading: Quality of print
Not all stamps are born equal. There can be lots of minor quality flux that fits into printers guidelines of acceptable variation and printing conditions. Finnish Christmas postage stamps: Skating Santa
IMHO the 1995 Christmas postage stamps are bit like the day before the Christmas eve. You have a feeling there’s still plenty to do, but at the same time you feel to be adrift. Design Errors
According to the DansTopical.com website, “An ‘error’ in philately usually refers something that has gone wrong in the production of a stamp: the wrong or missing colors, misperforations, inversions, and things like that. The subnotes on stamp catalog confirmed my hunch- I had stumpled upon forgeries of somewhat common and cheap stamps. The original issues were printed using  Read More →

It’s been a long time since I showed some of the EFO’s, but I think they will match perfectly with my current writings about stamp quality.
